I Finally Got Tagged!!! Oh, Y'All Are In For It Now!!!

Cheryl over at non compos mentis nominated me for a Kreativ blogger award. Two awards in less than 48 hours...WOO HOOO!!!

Well, isn't that special! (hear Dana Carvey's The Church Lady)

These are the rules:

1. link to the person who tagged you.

2.
post the rules on your blog.

3. write six random things about yourself.

4. tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.

5. let each person know they've been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.

6. let the tagger know when your entry is up.

OK, six random things about myself? Are you sure you really want to know?? Don't blame me when your eyes start bleeding & you need therapy...you asked for it!

1) Severed fingers & body parts don't bother me. At all. I have had patients hand me severed fingers in Ziploc baggies filled with ice. No biggie.

2) When I was pregnant with my daughter I had a dream that I had given birth to the alien from "V" (a mini~series from the eighties)! Damn pregnancy hormones!!! I also had a dream that my husband gave her to someone else & I was stuck in the bed & couldn't get out to go get her back. It turned out that she had meconium aspiration (bowel movement in the womb that she breathed in) at birth & was put in the NICU at another hospital (my "birth" hospital did not have one) for 18 days & I was in the other hospital away from her for the first 2 1/2 days of her life. How's that for prophetic!!??

3) My birthday is also my Dad's birthday and my parents anniversary! And NO it was not a shotgun wedding, I was born on their 7th anniversary (2 weeks late).

4) I originally wanted to name my daughter Rhiannon Siobhan because I thought it was a cool cross between my name (Shannon) & my husband's name (Ray), but my Godmother said it sounded like a ticket taker at a movie theater in South Central L.A.!! It's an Irish/Gaelic name but it apparently sounded too "black" for her taste.

5) I am a Libertarian who is registered as a Republican.

6) I loved my job at the prison. Those inmates are highly entertaining! It was the Mental Health Department, after all!!

Now for the tagees...who will it be??

1)
...DER GO YO BIZKITS...

2) Kaiya's Laughter Heals

3) Trapped In The 80's Moms

4) Visiting Lucyville

5) Who said anything about common sense?

6) Welcome To The Nuthouse

You're it!! Go have fun!!

Congratulations on your award!

When I saw you wanted to name your daughter Rhiannon, I thought you would say it was because you're a huge Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks fan. But then I couldn't figure out where the Siobhan came from.

hey, I am so glad that you tagged me, the problem is that I get tagged with this one like EVERY WEEK (it really makes the rounds!). I think I already did it twice and had to turn down a lot of people on it..I would TOTALLY LOVE for you to tag me again ...with something else!! There are all these cool tags I see going around, but the 6 things one keeps coming back to me ;-) Maybe tomorrow I will pass on that award and link back to you instead ;-)

I am also a registered Republican that is a libertarian. I tried the Libertarian party but have a problem with being pointless as a member of a 3rd party...also there were too many anarchists I kept meeting, and I felt that was a little too much. I went once to a Libertarian party dinner meeting where there were in attendance(I'm not kidding): several anarchists, a member of the John Birch Society, and a guy who makes pornos and wanted snuff films and kiddie porn legal (hence his libertarianism). That night was when I decided to register as a republican, but I have never rested easy within the ranks of this party either...

ChicagoLady: I AM a Huge Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks fan. That is where I originally (before I met my husband)heard the name. After we were dating, I thought it sounded like a combo of our names & I liked the meaning of it. The Siobhan is a traditional Irish family name.

80sMom: I am sorry! I am new at this, so this is my 1st tag/2nd award. I have no idea where these tags come from, either!

Court: I have no idea when this thing expires!
