Green Is Groovy? Well, St. Pat's Day Is!

This is another edition of MomDot's Small Talk Six on Saturdays. Today's topic is six things you love that are green.

Well that's hard because green is
n't exactly one of my most favorite colors {not the traditional color/shade of green, anyway}. I will be taking a bit of creative license here, so here we go...

{Click any picture to biggify}

1) The Emerald Isle {Ireland}

2) Funky Leprechauns

3) Emerald, platinum and diamond rings

4) Spanikopita {Greek spinach and feta filling baked in filo dough}

5) This man's gorgeous green eyes {Rick Springfield} and everything else that is attached to them

6) This sign because it's green and has a fart joke in it.

Im with you, most shades of green I cannot stand. I suspect it it because the first 3 years of school I was in a parochial school and the uniform was this ghastly shade of green with white, black and grey plaid print. *ugh* Sweater was all green...socks all green. Only other colors were the yellow on the emblem and the black and red shoes I wore. Nothing like sticking a heavy-set girl in plaid...I looked like a stinking tank.

I agree about the rings (and the spinach pastries). My engagement ring is an emerald, which I didn't even think about putting on my list, but I still love it!

I am guessing you love Rick Springfield, lol. I saw him in concert when I was 14yrs old (long time ago, lol). He does have beautiful eyes.
