The Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit agency, has asked me to get the word out about their program helping inner city kids, ages 6-18, experience life in the country or suburbs for two weeks each Summer. They currently need host families in the states highlighted on the map to the right. If you can help, click the button below to find out how.

About The Fresh Air Fund
THE FRESH AIR FUND, an independent, not-for-profit agency, has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million Newannually. In 2008, close to 5,000 children visited volunteer host families in suburbs and small town communities across 13 states from Virginia to Maine and Canada. 3,000 children also attended five Fresh Air camps on a 2,300-acre site in Fishkill, New York. The Fund’s year-round camping program serves an additional 2,000 young people each year.

I'm not expecting to have time tonight to set up a scheduled post for tomorrow. I'll be out of town until next Saturday night. Vacation...here I come! So, if I don't get one posted, you know why.
