Are Your Arms And Legs Broken?: MomDot's Small Talk Six

Those MomDotters are at it again...Small talk Six! On Saturdays.

Today’s topic is 6 things people do that you think are beyond lazy". You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc...

I know I will get flamed for some of these, but it's my opinion and this is my blog. I can say what I want. Here you go...

1) People who don't throw away their trash. Or can't exactly get the trash in the actual trash can.

2) Not fixing the whole bed for the person who is going to get into it after you are already sleeping. {Hi, honey!}

3) This may be only in my neighborhood, but...people who cannot pick up a phone or walk over to the person's house they are trying to get the attention of, but instead yell for them from down the street.

4) Those who blame someone else when their pet or child gets injured because they were too lazy to come watch them in the first place.

5) Parents who, instead of teaching their kids real values, throw expensive things at them, or let them be raised by Nannies, which only breeds spoiled, entitled brats.

6)
I'm going to get slammed for this one, but here it is: Those that have weight loss surgery because they can't be bothered to keep themselves away from the bad foods. {This is for those, like my SIL, who thought stomach stapling was easier than dieting and still eat the same crap that got themselves obese to begin with.}

your list is great! All of these are true especially no.5. Happy weekend!

Mine is up: http://genefaith.wordpress.com/2009/08/08/small-talk-six-how-lazy-can-you-get/

Amen! On that last one, the surgery's just a bandaid. If you don't keep to the new lifestyle, you'll end up just as fat again.

Yep, I agree with the last one too. The surgery is only great for those who are willing to make the lifestyle changes to keep the weight off.

In defense of Nannies, I was a Nanny for over 17 years and I can tell you that I never spoiled any of the children that i was Blessed to care for. I Loved 'em ALL like they were my own and every Family I worked for had me there only because they HAD to work. They were either Single parents or both parents had to work.

But, your Blog is still one of my Favs! Hugs JO

Seriously- there are some clueless parents out there. I've seen how their kids turn out too.

Have a great Saturday.

#1 really makes me mad. I'll be driving and people will throw a whole bag of fast food garbage out of their car window.

That is a great list. I especially like #6. They are just too lazy to change their life style.

Here's mine

Now that is a list !

Sorry I don't agree with you on the nanny one. Some people have to work and I do think nannies can be a better option than daycare for very small children.

I only half agree with #5. Throwing expensive things at kids instead of raising them will definitely lead to spoiled kids. But I know some kids who are better off for being raised by nannies instead of their crazy parents! :)

This one needs to go to 11 mate, but ok.

1- People who are too lazy to discipline their kids and then 'blame society' when they end up in gangs or prison

2- People who still think Obama has a clue (not that he ever did) It's lazy not to take the time to see what is so obvious.

3- People who drive like maniacs, putting every one at risk, weaving in and out- only to end up sitting next to you at the red light.

4- People who will park a car illegally or on a front lawn to avoid walking that extra 10 feet.

5- People who think a pill or a electrical device they buy from late night infomercials will make them lose the product of years of Carl's Jr. double bacon cheese burgers in 6 weeks.

6- People who think food stamps and welfare are a legitimate means of permanent income.

Nannies aren't bad if they are needed because both parents work, in fact I think they are preferable, it's the ones that give their children over to a nanny even though they DON'T work that I would have an issue with.

I fell in love with a girl that was a nanny once- she changed my entire life, I loved her more than I have loved anyone before or since- and hate her more than I have ever hated anyone, go figure.

Yes, Shannon, you know who I'm talking about.

great list, I can't say I've seen the blame game, but I definitely get irritated when I see kids out that are not being looked after.

I posted my 6 this weekend end, visit me if you can
