It's Flashing Time!

MomDot is running a weekly "Small Talk Six" every Saturday, where we are given a topic and asked to write six things {or a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc.} about it. This week's topic is in honor of Mardi Gras {I just love New Orleans!}.


What are six things would I be willing to flash someone for?

Well, let's see...


1) To save the life of my child or loved one.

2) For a free house. {We rent an old 700 sq. ft., 2 bedroom house with a 1 car garage, no central air or heat and a big yard. Our only bathroom is the size of a postage stamp. My washing machine is in the kitchen and my dryer is in the garage. There is no dishwasher, well not an automatic one, anyway. We desperately want our own house. Our landlord is rather, shall we say, OCD and acts like he is his tenants' father. It's kind of creepy.}

3) For a brand new, fully loaded, fully paid for, insurance paid for 5 years, electric purple Honda Odyssey mini-van. {Our 1990 Mazda is on it's last legs and we can't afford a new one}

4) For 25 million tax free dollars {We all have a "dream" price, don't we?}

5) An LG front load washer and dryer.

6) To restore my ability to have another baby and ensure a healthy pregnancy and child.

Since I am a non~conformist and rarely play by exact rules, and because my Husband said the above answers were far too obvious, I am doing 6 more "flashing" answers. This may get a bit raunchy, so be forewarned.

1) If I was single and this was a perfect world, to get Rick Springfield to be my love slave! {Or Jimmy Smits, Andy Garcia or Patrick Swayze....YUUUUUMMMM!!!}

2) To find out if there really are aliens from other planets visiting us. And meet one of them.

3) To find out if there truly is a vampire occupant living in the "Vampire House" in New Orleans.

4) To learn what the Colonel's 11 secret herbs and spices really are.

5) To get Hollywood writers and producers to stop remaking (and slaughtering) old movies. "Race To Witch Mountain" starring The Rock????? ARE YOU FLIPPIN' KIDDING ME???? Be original for Pete's sake!

6) To find out ahead of time what is actually going to happen on December 21, 2012.
